How it works

From “I need hands” to hands on site

No account required to get a price. No sales call. No deposit.

1

Price the job yourself

Pick the work, the crew size, the hours and the day. The quote updates as you go — you never have to phone in to find out what something costs. Nothing is charged to book.

2

Dispatch confirms the crew

A dispatcher reads the job, matches Gophers who have done that kind of work, and calls or texts you to confirm. If the job needs a licensed trade instead, we tell you straight away.

3

The crew shows up ready

Gophers arrive with boots, hi-vis, gloves and a hard hat. Equipped bookings bring the truck, dollies, straps and blankets. You get a text when they are on the way.

4

You direct the work

On site, the crew works to your direction. On a Gopher Pro booking, the crew lead runs the floor and reports to you at the end of the day.

5

You approve the hours

Hours are logged on site and sent to you to approve. The 3-hour minimum applies; beyond that you only pay for time worked.

6

Payment

Homes pay by card once the hours are approved. Business accounts are invoiced net 15. Dump and material costs are passed through at cost with receipts attached.

What you are actually buying

A managed crew, not a lead

We are not a directory and not a marketplace. You are not matched with a stranger and left to sort it out. Gophers are our employees, dispatched by us, insured by us, and our problem if something goes wrong.

  • Criminal record check before a first shift
  • On payroll — CPP, EI, tax, T4
  • WorkSafeBC coverage on every hour
  • Liability insurance on every job
  • One dispatcher you can call
